If you don’t, you need to meet him.
If you do, you will want to know about this, if you don’t already.
Before I continue this story, I want to give you a brief background. Those of you who have been reading my blog for a while, know that one of the most serendipitous benefits I have experienced as a result of blogging is the wonderful people I have met along the way. Their blogs are filled with amazing content that educates and entertains as well as enriches my life.
In past blog posts I introduced to you to some of these remarkable individuals through OMG! It’s Jessica Northey, 5 Terrific Women on Triberr and 6 Sizzling Men of Triberr.
One of the gentleman I highlighted in the 6 Sizzling Men of Triberr is Christian Hollingsworth, a truly incredible being—and he is only 20!
While I don’t know what you were doing on the internet 10 years ago, Christian was already writing blogs and building communities—that would make him 10 when he started!
In the ensuing years, Christian created and built one of the world’s largest dog sport communities, became a professional public speaker, won the California Young Author’s Award, received the Kiwanis Award for Leadership and the list continues.
If you do not already know Christian, you will want to connect with him at his online home Smart Boy Designs. That’s where he provides resources and tips as well as introduces you to people who make a difference.
When you visit his site, you will understand why clients from around the world seek out his services. Christian knows the internet, web development, “techie stuff” and social media marketing.
However, far more importantly, Christian knows and loves people. He is a master at connecting people, introducing you to people, highlighting people and creating communities.
In fact, the reason that I want to make sure you know Christian or, if you already know him are aware of this opportunity, I want to make sure you know that Christian has been nominated for the 2011 Small Business Influencer award under the Gurus category. Following is a description of this award:
“Welcome to “Small Business Influencer 2011″ produced by Small Business Trends and Small Biz Technology and brought to you by Blackberry. Small Business Influencer 2011 honors companies, organizations and people who have made a significant impact on the North American small business market. In phase I, you nominate influencers. In Phases 2 and 3, you and an all-star judging panel will vote for the top 100. It all culminates with honoring the Top 100 Small Business Influencers in mid-August 2011, with an awards dinner to follow on September 13, 2011 in New York City.”
What an honor it would be for anyone to be nominated for this award. Christian, I am so very proud of you and so happy for you.
As you can see, the winner will be determined by votes. This is where Christian and I need your help. At the time of this writing (7/16), there are only 24 days left to vote. The good news is that you can vote once a day It’s easy to do; no sign up required, no information to give. Here’s all you do.
Go to the site and click on the yellow Vote button. One click and you’re done. Except, of course, we’d like to you to note it on your calendar or reminder system to do it again tomorrow, the day after and the day after that for the next 24 days.
When you are voting, get to know Christian a bit through his listed accomplishments. To get to know his heart, become a regular visitor to Smart Boy Designs. Read his blog posts, comment when one resonates with you, follow him on twitter, connect and engage with him.
If you are at all like me, you will find that having Christian as a part of your life, will make your heart sing and bring a smile to your face. Christian, as I have said on more than on occasion, “when I grow up I want to be just like you.”
Wishing you all the best, my friend. Much love and aloha. Janet
Do you already know Christian? If so, do share something about him below.
Will you vote for Christian? Will you spread the word? Please let me know below.
P.S. Christian did not ask me to write this nor does he know I am doing it. Another dear blogger friend of my Adrienne Smith wrote a similar post earlier this week. Because we are both HUGE Christian fans, I asked her if it would be okay with her if I borrowed her idea to introduce Christian to my blogging community and ask them to support him. Mahalo, Adrienne for giving me the thumbs up for this post.
If you think this would be helpful for others, please help me spread the word. “Tweet it” “Like It” “Share It” or “Digg It” or “Stumble” below.
Please do give me your feed back and comments. Let’s exchange ideas below. Leave any thoughts or questions you may have and I will get back with you.

Well maybe I’ll be the first one to comment here, possibly not. I just thought I’d take the time to write down some of the feelings I’ve been experiencing over the course of the past week since being nominated – and the outpouring of support I’ve received since.
First of all, as you may have noticed from my own post – I didn’t know I was nominated and added to the influencer roster. It was only when my nine year old brother and I were searching for one another’s names on Google – that I noticed the nomination under my name. I clicked on the link – and was astonished. I couldn’t believe it. I scrolled through the nominations. Names like Tim Ferriss, Chris Brogan, Robert Scoble, McDonald’s, Microsoft – all the biggies. My mentors. The people I look up to. Bloggers whom I seek to emulate.
Here I am, just a kid. I’m still just a kid. I’m only twenty years old – and I’m so very humbled to have received all this support. I don’t know that I’ll ever know all that I want to in this life (that’s why I plan on learning in the next!), but I will forever cherish and hold each of you in such high regard.
Janet, I hope you know I consider you one of those “mentors” whom I cherish and learn from. You’ve had more years of experience than I have, you write brilliant posts – and most important, it all comes from the heart. That to me, is special.
If all else, I’m honored. Nominations like these shouldn’t change people. It’s best to stay grounded – and remember how little you really are. Just a person, learning, along with your friends.
And hopefully touching some lives along the way.
Christian, aloha. You were indeed the first to comment here. So glad that you were so that those readers who do not know you will have a chance to get to know you a bit through your beautiful comment.
Christian, I absolutely loved the way you discovered your nomination. Thank heavens you and your brother found it when you did. Because of that, all your friends will have the opportunity to show their love and appreciation for you by voting.
That is quite an impressive list, Christian, and yet it is not surprising to me that you would be included in such company. You have a rare gift of connecting with people’s hearts. Your life philosophy of joy and goodness comes through in every interaction. Christian, you make people feel good. As a result, people want to be around you as well as do whatever they can for you.
Christian, thx so much for including me in your list of mentors; I am honored.
Best wishes to you, my special friend, for a magnificent week. May you revel in the joy of love, friendship and support that will be coming your way as more and more people spread the word about your nomination. Warmest aloha. Janet
I know – I’m so glad I found the nomination. I just wouldn’t have known about it otherwise. Wonder if next year they might let the nominees know about what they’ve been honored with. Might be a nice little addon for the awards program.
The list is fantastic over at the nominations. You’ve got some wonderful bloggers, great companies and leaders. Like I mentioned before – I feel like many of them are all people I’ve looked up to for quite a while!
Now I’m heading down this post to communicate and talk with everyone else on the list. You’ve left some incredible comments yourself. I feel like a little man in the midst of many giants of kindness of love and appreciation.
Christian Hollingsworth is a blogging rockstar. He curates people. And, at the end of the day, people -not content – are king.
Christian may or may not be able to explain his success or how what he does, works out so well. But one thing is sure – doing the right thing comes natural to him. That’s awesome.
Community builds around his blog – naturally. Most bloggers really struggle with this. That’s how amazing Christian is.
And I have to take notice (you should too) that yet again, something else is building around Christian. Something amazing. It’s solidarity. It’s cooperation. It’s collaboration. You can participate in this by voting for Christian in the Small Business Influencer 2011 contest.
Kudos to Janet and Adrienne Smith for leading the way forward. For shining. For leading with love.
You’ve hit the nail on the spot right there, Stan. The power is in the people. Companies would be nothing without that “vote” consumers make each day by buying or NOT buying their products.
And what’s really important is the change. Don’t you think? What better is this world going to be if products are pushed without a purpose? Something to believe in? I don’t know about you, but I’d feel pretty crummy about myself if I pushed and sold a product that was worthless, fallible or plain wrong. Yet, we see it everyday.
Thank you for touching my heart, Stan, with your thoughts. They really mean a whole lot to me. I’m putting this comment in my personal blog archives and linking to your blog – because you’ve really sparked in my mind the next phase and focus I’d like to develop in all I do.
Thanks to all your support – I now have the #1 most votes in the nomination. I’m amazed and flabbergasted.
Christian, aloha. Like you, Christian, I believe Stan’s comment was one of the most amazing that I have ever read. When I saw your response: “I’m putting this comment in my personal blog archives and linking to your blog – because you’ve really sparked in my mind the next phase and focus I’d like to develop in all I do” I gave a fist pump and shouted YES! Christian, I love the way we lift each other up, inspire and lead.
Christian, you can count on us to beat the drums for you. Revel in the support and love you feel from all those whose lives you have touched. Christian, you have enriched so many lives, it is our pleasure to have a chance to be able to give back to you. Warmest aloha, Janet
I don’t think I’ve ever been so touched and teared up so much just by blogging – in such a short period of time.
You can call me a softy. Yes, I cried during the Notebook. Yes, I teared up during Bridge to Tarabithia. Yes, I’m sure I cried when little – after Simba’s dad died. It’s just the way I’ve always been – and when something says something of intense beauty, I hear a piece of brilliant music, etc….Those tears will occasionally come.
So know you all – are consistently touching my life.
Loved what you mentioned above about lifting one another up….Together. That’s just so important. To lift, inspire, motivate and help. Can you imagine life without people? It wouldn’t work? Where would businesses be without people? Nowhere. Would products be improved, tested and refined without people? No. Do music artists receive an ambition and drive to produce better music because of their fans? Yes. Do bloggers enjoy hearing a response from their readers? Yes. Are our lives brightened because of simple, human interactions? You better believe it!
Lift each other up. All together now!
We did and we do–always!
Stan, aloha. You are so right, Christian is a blogging rockstar! Stan, I absolutely love “He curates people.” Again, you are right, “People — not content –are king.” When you look at the commenters on Christian’s blog and diverse people who reference him or his blog in their posts or tweets, you can only begin to appreciate how many lives he touches each and every day.
Stan, I have to tell you that your entire comment is so well phrased as well as profound, that I find myself wanting to cut and paste each sentence into my reply to say — “You are so right, Stan, ” . . . .” Instead, Stan, what I will do is incorporate by reference, your entire comment into my reply and say “You are so right, Stan, . . .”
Thank you, my friend, for this beautiful comment on our friend. Thank heavens for Dino, Dan, Triberr and the Mighty Anubis. Stan, let’s beat the drum and get the vote out for Christian.
Wishing you all the love and support you so generously give to others. Take good care, my friend. Aloha. Janet
His comments often build within me the desire to visit his blog and Tweet every single blog post he’s ever written!
You guys made me tear up. You filled my heart with your overwhelming love. And that’s just not manly. [coff] But I’m just saying. It happens. Thank you.
We do have a rather nice lovefest going on here, don’t we, Stan? Thx for stopping by again to add more love. ((Hugs))
Hello my beautiful friend… Another wonderful post about such an awe inspiring young man. Like you, he brings out the best in people. He’s so humble and genuine that it warms my heart to even have the opportunity to get to know him let alone be able to call him my friend.
I was pleased to have written my post, I felt it’s the least I could do. We both just wanted to show our support to such a wonderful person whom I believe is so deserving.
Christian is so wise beyond his years and his heart will take him a long way. I look forward to the day they announce those awards and know that we had just a small part in helping him reach that position.
Glad you wanted to do this as well Janet and you knew I’d give you the thumbs up. You’re amazing and so supportive and I appreciate you as well!
Hope you’ve enjoyed your day and bless you my friend.
Adrienne
Adrienne, aloha. Let me begin by thanking you for the inspiration. As soon as I read your post I thought what a fantastic idea; I want to do it too.
Adrienne, one of the things I so appreciate about the online world is the wonderful people you meet who become a part of your life. The support that our community so readily gives is simply awe inspiring. Since posting this, several people have tweeted me that they want to start a campaign to send out 2-3 tweets a day with the link to “Vote for Christian.” Because I read your post, Adrienne, which inspired this post, more people will now have the opportunity to support our mutual friend.
The Triberr community helped Dino and Dan win the Ultralight by a landslide; let’s do the same thing for Christian.
Best wishes to you, my special friend, for a week filled with delightful surprises. Until next time, aloha. Janet
That’s a wonderful idea Janet and you are so right. Our social media friend, since it’s just not the blogging community, can help some of our dear friends win these contests. I’m thrilled to hear about Dino and Dan, they are also very deserving so let’s get the Twitter community involved as well. We want him to win by a landslide.
Thank you Janet, thank you!
I feel like eventually we’re going to need to setup some sort of “bloggers” retreat for all of us good friends, compatriots and well-wishers. Could you imagine a week spent with all your favorite blogging buddies? All armed with notebooks and notepads? Hammering out content, throwing ideas off of one another – and enjoying the company of an incredible crowd.
I’d like that.
You had me at “Do you know smart boy,” Janet! I’ve been very fortunate to connect with Christian through his blog. I love to find young people who just seem to have everything together. They know their goals and are accomplishing them much earlier than the rest of us. And Christian has so much wisdom and motivation to give. I have written “Faith in a principle of action” on my whiteboard next to my desk. I look at it and it keeps me coming. He’s helping just with a few words. So I am set to vote everyday. Let’s make sure Christian wins!
Marianne, aloha. Thx for letting me know the title drew you over. Quite honestly, I had quite a debate with myself over what to say. Finally, I decided that those who knew “Smart Boy” would want to see what I had to say about him and those who did not would wonder what on earth I was talking about so come over.
Marianne, I’m with you. Let’s get out the vote out for Christian. Thx so much for your support.
Enjoy a wonderful week. Aloha. Janet
I smile so big every time I hear you have that quote on your whiteboard. Faith is a principle of action. The future is as bright as our faith! Some of my favorites.
But really, it is! If we desire something, and have the faith enough to make it come to pass (BY ACTING!) then we can make anything happen in this life. Greater peace. Joy. Release of suffering. Success.
To me, it all starts with that correct desire too, don’t you think? It seems that the Universe, God (whatever you might believe in) is going to reward you based on your INTENTIONS. I firmly believe that you’re going to find greater success if your intentions are pure – and the desire is to ultimately, change people’s lives and help where possible.
There’s really no room to be selfish – and that’s what I see displayed in my closest blogging friends. A lack of selfishness. Selflessness runs deep. For that example – I am eternally grateful! So thank you. All of you. Janet. Marianne; for giving me that proper example to live by!
Hi Janet,
thanks for introducing us to Christian. What an amazing person he is ! As I can tell from his reaction to this post – and what he writes about you – makes me realise that he really understands what it’s all about: “It all comes from the heart.”
Very powerful.
I will check out his blog now.
Take care
Oliver
Oliver, aloha. Let me begin by thanking you for introducing Christian to all your facebook friends and twitter followers.
Oliver, you will so appreciate his site because it is buffet of quality content beautifully displayed in an easy to digest manner. You will find each tasty morsel to be delicious and satisfying. Though, Oliver, I must admit that like Chinese food, shortly after eating, you will want more. Fortunately, with Christian, there is always more being served.
You are so right, Oliver, as amazing as Christian is, it is his heart that makes him so incredible. As prodigious as is his talent, it pales in comparison to his generosity of spirit. His heart is magnificent.
Oliver, thx so much for stopping by and for your support of Christian–and, of course, my blog. Best wishes for a most excellent week. Until next time, aloha. Janet
Your description of blogging on a whole, Janet, is delightful. And thank you, Oliver, for taking the time to get to know me and vote! Grateful to have been able to tweet and talk with you already – and it’s only been a day of interaction!
Big hugs and thanks to Janet for connecting us.
Christian is an inspiration for me. He’s superb.
I will be checking his website.
Lisa, aloha. Thx so much for visiting again and sharing your thoughts. Christian is indeed an inspiration. When you visit his blog, you will say “WOW! I am so glad I discovered Christian.” Guaranteed what you read will strike a responsive chord.
Until the next time, aloha. Janet
Thank you Lisa. Oh how I’m giddy with excitement and joy when I am able to connect with a new blogger online! It’s why we do – what we do!
Christian is an amazing person in both character and talent. He not only deserves your vote, he deserves your vote every day!
Thank you, Janet, for spreading the word about Christian. I am happy to vote for him and happy to have discovered your blog through Adrienne’s tweet!
How happy I am to connect with you here Carolyn. Your tweets bring a smile to my great grinning face – and fill me with a warmth incomparable!
Thanks for writing this post Janet. Christian is an amazing individual, and I’ve made it a point to Vote for him as I can see his influence breaching many individuals and brands … I am a fan as well. Right on!
Vitaly, aloha. You are most welcome. When I learned about Christian’s nomination I was so excited I immediately voted for him. Then when I saw Adrienne’s post I thought “OMG! I want to do the same thing to help spread the word.” As you well know, our blogging community is fantastic and when we come together to support each other the results are incredible. It is so much fun and feels so good to be involved in such an effort together.
Thx so much, Vitaly, for helping me spread the word. Best wishes for a terrific week. Aloha. Janet
I’m pretty sure it was a spelling error – but you wrote to “breach” Vitaly. That gets my mind a spinnin’! To breach is to break free or make a gap in something.
We do that everyday as bloggers! We try and expand and push our minds to new limits – and engage others in the process. We’re continually “breaching” the walls of our own minds, and for good reason. We need to! We constantly need that breaching or we’re going to get stuck fast!
Wow! Thanks so much for introducing us to Christian, Janet! I’m totally impressed. Young people like Christian definitely give hope for the future. I’ve already voted, tweeted Christian’s post, and am following Christian’s blog now, too. I also tweeted your post through my other Twitter account (@DebChitwood, which has more education-related followers).
Deb aloha. Thx so much for joining in the “Vote for Christian Campaign.” With the work you do nurturing young talent, you especially can appreciate Christian. Deb, it is my pleasure to introduce you to him. Guaranteed you will love his blog and say “thank you, thank you, thank you for introducing me to Christian.”
Again, thx for your support. Enjoy a wonderful week. Aloha. Janet
And thank you for all that you mentioned Deb. I can’t help but feeling broken. Like a record. But there’s simply no better way to describe your feelings in the English language – than THANK YOU!
Janet,
I’ve known Christian, through his website – for the last few months. What a complete joy it has been, getting to know him and his authentic zest for life!
So, how awesome to discover YOUR site today – and…see Christian right here, front and center!! Very cool – you, highlighting this incredible young man!!! (and I’ve been voting!!).
Lance, aloha. Welcome to my blog; it is always such a pleasure to greet first time visitors. Before responding to your comment, I took a quick trip to your blog where I entered my name to receive your book. Lance, I can hardly wait to start reading some of the posts I see.
Christian is an amazing individual who enriches my life and makes me smile. Knowing and interacting with him is a true joy.
If you found my blog because of my Smart Boy tweets, then I can tell you are another gift he has brought to me. Lance, I look forward to “getting to know you . . .” and knowing that we are working together as part of the “Vote for Christian Campaign.”
Best wishes for a fantastic week. Until next time, aloha. Janet
You two are just meeting for the first time today? I apologize for coming off brute – but I would have thought you two would have known one another by now. Solely because when I think of Lance and Janet – I think of a few things: Happiness, Joy, Friendship, Laughter, Fun, Heartfelt, Genuine.
What you both practice and preach – seems mighty similar in my book.
Aloha, Janet,
How wonderful to do this feature about Christian! I’ve not found many so heartfelt and genuine in their online interactions.
He is indeed a blogging rockstar, but he also deserves many votes, and to win — I’ve voted multiple times already!!
One thing I admire is his ability to create community. We could all take a lesson.
Great post!
~Keri
Keri, aloha. We are in 100% agreement on everything you said. We definitely could all take lessons from him on building a community.
As you know, Christian often asks questions and then features the responses from multiple bloggers. What I like about those posts are the new bloggers that I meet and reading the different perspectives from the bloggers.
Keri, over the next 3+ weeks, I think it will be so much fun to watch the growing support for Christian as more and more people learn about his nomination.
Wishing you a most excellent week. Aloha. Janet
Crowd-sourcing. You know why I love it don’t you? Because everyone else has such great opinions and thoughts! I just love how much I learn when I do so. And Keri, thank you for connecting. I’m so glad we’ve done so. It’s been a whole lot of fun already!
Janet aloha. I don’t know Christian like you and many others do but what I can say is that I am inspired that someone his age is making such a difference to so many in so many ways. He deserves all the support and love we can give him.
I first read about the award on Adrienne’s blog and immediately voted for him and will continue to do so. I will certainly read his blog a whole lot more too.
Thank you for spreading the good news Janet.
~Marcus
Marcus, aloha. There is no doubt about it, Marcus, Christian leaves each person feeling better for having the encounter. When you read his About and a few of his blog posts, you will understand why “to know Christian is to love him” as you saw evidenced in the comments section.
Marcus, what you will find is that his life philosophy is very much in alignment with ours–he just figured it out much sooner.
Best wishes to you, my friend, for a week that is spectacular in every way. Until later, aloha. Janet
Thank you Marcus. I’m disappointed I haven’t taken the time to get to know you better – but know I’m going to make an effort to change that in the next couple of weeks. Excited for the roads ahead!
“And hopefully touching some lives along the way.”…
Aloha, my friend. He’s (Christian) pretty wonderful, isn’t he? Another beautiful post about someone I actually met before you told me this time. Christian found me hiding in the background, scared to death of what I just couldn’t seem to get a handle on. (that would be the big T)
The thing was, I really was afraid. I only understood half of what was being said and learning about websites and blogs, well, Twitter is different. It wasn’t even like commenting to the big king of the jungle or those gentle and straight to the point sweeties like Danny Brown and John Falchetto or Jonathan Fields. This was right in your face NOW.
(Would someone think I was worthless or stupid? What could I say to offer anything to someone to respond to? What if no one spoke to me at all?) These loomed fairly large in my mind. Then here was this sound and pow (!) there he was… nice and interested and interesting. He spoke to me again later. It changed everything for me.
Christian Smart Boy has my vote, has my votes, is my friend and I’m honored to know him. ~Amber-Lee
Well hello there friend! So glad to have you onboard the “voting” train I guess you would call it. I’m so touched you feel that way about our relationship on twitter, blogs and everything else.
It’s good to have friends. Friends like yourself who care, are loving – and make a difference. And not only online – but you make a difference in a whole of people’s lives in your profession also. You’re a joy creator!
Amber-Lee, aloha. Welcome back. How was the adventure? When are you heading out again?
Amber-Lee, thank you so much for sharing your story on how you and Christian connected. As you well know, what he did with you is just the way he is. Believe me, I completely understand what you said about the big T. What I couldn’t understand, Amber-Lee, was why everybody said it was so great! Let’s face it; I simply didn’t “get it.” Now that my training wheels are off, I do go screaming down the twitter stream and absolutely love it.
Amber-Lee, let’s get the vote out for Christian who is a very Smart Boy! My guess is, Amber-Lee, that his heart is probably as big as all that beautiful wilderness in Alaska. What do you think?
So glad you are back from your adventure in time to see this post and start spreading the word. Until next time, aloha. Janet
Christian – of course! Great blogger. He is so energetic and he is sharing that positive energy with everyone how is visiting his blog!
Great work Christian, don’t ever stop!
Thank you Janet for this post.
Klaudia, aloha. Thx so much for stopping by and cheering on Christian. Your support is always so appreciated.
You are 100% correct, Klaudia, is does share that positive energy with everyone he encounters.
Best wishes for a fantastic week. Aloha. Janet
Many thanks for highlighting Christian Janet. I had in fact linked with him on Google+ without knowing too much about him so I am really grateful for your nudge to take a closer look at all the stuff he does.
Looking forward to seeing more of what you do in the future Christian and hope to be able to connect in all the other social media places we inhabit too.
Tony
Tony, aloha. So glad to be able to tell you more about Christian. What he has accomplished, Tony, could wel be one of your blog posts. You will love the people you meet–actually, you will see many familiar faces–and you will love what you learn. His site is quite a resource.
Tony, happy to give you the nudge. Look forward to a tweet or post comment from you in the future saying “OMG, Janet, I am sooooo glad that Christian and I connected.”
Loved your Google+ Top 10 post. Will head on over to see what else is happening with you. Until later, aloha. Janet
Just voted!
I agree 100% with everything you wrote, Janet. The only thing I would say is that I need to get over to his site more often and engage with Christian. The things he’s been able to do at half my age are nothing short of phenomenal.
Keep doing it Christian, it will only get better from here!
Aaah, well thank you John. You’re much too kind!
Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate it. You’re a great man!
Well said, John. Speaking of getting over to Christian’s blog, I have to do the same as well. All the wonderful things happening in my life have kept me occupied. Visiting his blog, reading the terrific comments he receives and engaging with Christian is one of my very favorite things to do. Look forward to seeing you there in the comments section, John.
Until we meet here, there or elsewhere in the blogosphere, aloha. Janet
Hi Janet
I met Christian threw your other blog. But didn’t
talk to him till a couple days ago. I was going threw
my klout because some 1 had giving me a K and I had
seen Christian there and i didn’t no who he was because
he changed his picture. So I went back to twitter and Thanked
him for the K and of course it was in Moms that my # thing on Klout
Than I started talking with him and reading his blogs and leaving
comments.
He is a great young man and i can see him doing amazing things
in the future.
He has had my votes several times and I’ve RT it to.
Good luck Christian and I hope you win
Bonnie Squires
Bonnie, aloha. So glad you two connected. You will so appreciate reading his blog–great content, great people, great inspiration.
Thx so much for voting for him and spreading the word. We appreciate it.
Enjoy a fantastic weekend. Aloha. Janet
I’m a huge fan of Christian’s and support him in anyway he needs. I’ve voted so many times already but glad I saw this post to remind me to vote again. Thanks Janet!
Benny, aloha. Thx so much for stopping by and letting me know that you too are a Christian fan. How could anyone who knows him not be?
Benny, we have to “get the VOTE out” because others are far, far to close to him. As I type this, Christian has 1910 and David has 1894! What I do, Benny, is send out a tweet a couple of times a day reminding people to vote.
This is the current tweet I am using because it takes people directly to his page (twitter automatically shortens the link):
Very close! Please help @SmartBoyDesigns 1 EZ click to VOTE for him; no sign up http://influencers.smallbiztrends.com/small-business-gurus/christian-hollingsworth-1/
Benny, look forward to seeing you around the blogosphere. Aloha. Janet
Janet, you made all the difference here! =) Thank you so much for letting me know about how I could support Christian. He’s been such an inspiration to me, so it’s great to see him recognized for his amazing work and generous spirit. How exciting to see him up there topping the list against some big names! =) Just goes to show how powerful a big heart can be! =)
Sam, aloha. Welcome back from your travels. So good to see you again; look forward to reading all about your trip.
You can imagine how excited we all were when we heard about the nomination. Since I knew you would want to support him, I sent you that message so you could read about his nomination and learn where to vote for him.
Look forward to visiting your blog soon. Until later, aloha. Janet
Hey Janet,
A great guy indeed and an even wonderful blogger! I just love the ideas on his blogs and he has such a wonderful way of connecting with the readers.Beginning at 10…gulp, I feel old already!
I did vote for him, in fact I know the trouble one has to go through to “collect votes” so I just made a little reminder to remind me everyday, I managed everyday..missed one in between, but yes, with all that amazing response he is getting, minus one won’t be such a bother!
Lovely feature!
Hajra, aloha. Thx for stopping by to let us know of your support for Christian. He is amazing. Hajra, I know exactly how you feel about that age 10. When I was 10, aside from the fact that computers as we know them today were not around, I seriously doubt that I would have been thinking of doing what he did.
Your are so right about his blog, Harja; I absolutely love his content, the community he builds and the way he supports of others.
We do have to make sure we get the vote out because others are catching up and one has even temporarily passed him. To VOTE for Christian is on my daily “to do” list.
Thx so much for your kind words, Hajra. Until next time, aloha. Janet
